A Baton Rouge man was arrested this past week in connection with Caddo Parish crimes dating back 19 years, said Sheriff Steve Prator.
Gentry Vinson, 50, was arrested by the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force in Middle Louisiana on warrants obtained by Caddo Sheriff’s Detective Chris Ardoin. Vinson is accused of two counts of molestation of a juvenile and one count of aggravated incest.
Ardoin said the victim in the case, who is now in her 30s, came to the Sheriff’s south substation on March 16 and made a report. She said the offenses occurred on multiple occasions at a residence in Keithville when she was a teenager between 2000 and 2003.
Vinson was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison and extradited back to Caddo Parish by the CPSO Warrants Division. His bond has been set at $250,000 on each of the three charges.
